Encouraging Pixel Owners to Upgrade

The Pixel Upgrader campaign was built to guide existing Pixel users toward upgrading to the latest Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. With user experience at the core, the three-part email sequence was designed to move recipients from awareness to action—using clear hierarchy, modular layouts, and motion-enhanced storytelling. The first email introduced the upgrade offer with a clean, focused design and strong CTA placement. A follow-up email delivered a refreshed visual reminder, improving scanability and reinforcing key benefits. The final email added urgency through subtle motion and dynamic visuals. Across the campaign, layouts were designed for clarity and responsiveness, while curated motion assets were optimized for speed and compatibility across email platforms. The result was a lightweight, conversion-oriented experience tailored to user behavior and device limitations.

Each email in the sequence was designed with user intent in mind—presenting information in digestible blocks that worked across screen sizes. Layouts emphasized visual hierarchy: offer first, benefits second, action last. Motion was used not as decoration, but as a storytelling tool—drawing attention to Pixel’s camera features, AI tools, and improved performance. Every design choice, from spacing to animation pacing, was made to guide the user, not distract them. Modular, responsive layouts helped maintain clarity across devices and email clients.

Animated assets were sourced from client video clips, then trimmed, looped, and compressed for performance. Each GIF was crafted to spotlight a specific feature—without overwhelming the content or breaking flow. By limiting file weight and prioritizing speed, the campaign ensured accessibility and consistency in every inbox.

All motion was optimized to load fast, maintain visual fidelity, and work across email platforms.
